Fun Simon was a real gem in the heart of Tainan's West Central District. Despite its bustling location, the shared lounge provided a cozy sanctuary where I could unwind after a day of exploring the city. The friendly staff had thoughtfully equipped each room with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the hot summer months. It felt like stepping into a cool oasis after a long day of sightseeing. I was pleasantly surprised to find a flat-screen TV in my room, offering a variety of entertainment options for those relaxing evenings in. It was a delightful touch that added an extra element of luxury to my stay. The kettle in the room provided a convenient way to make a hot cup of tea or coffee whenever I wanted. It was a small detail, but it made me feel right at home. Sharing the bathroom with only three other guests from another room was not an issue at all. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.
Noise from the surroundings could sometimes be a bit disruptive.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is close enough to walk to the city center and very close to the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store. Being in the city center, there are plenty of famous spots and local eateries nearby. The clean and comfortable rooms make for a pleasant stay, and the helpful staff enhance the overall experience.
The size of the rooms may be smaller than expected.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and caring, ensuring that all my needs were met during my business trip. They even called ahead to make sure I wouldn't miss the check-in time. the location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the city center for food hunting and shopping, as well as being close to bus stations for convenient transportation. the cleanliness of the accommodation, especially the shared bathroom, was impressive and made for a comfortable stay.
Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as a smaller room size and thin walls that allowed for some noise from fellow guests, it didn't significantly impact my overall experience. it was a bit challenging to find the hotel initially due to a small sign and a discrepancy with the location on Google Maps.

Nice environment and vibe. Homely feels with a nice area for rest and creative work. Close to Shinkong Mitsukoshi and the old part of town. Cleanest b&b, even cleaner than some 5-star hotels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for HSR shuttle bus, historical sites, and local eateries. Fully equipped b&b. Helpful staff who guide visitors and assist with luggage. Bluetooth sound system enhances experience. Thank you, Fun Simon!

The Fun Simon homestay provided an excellent stay in Tainan with its amazing features. the room came equipped with a Bluetooth sound system, adding a touch of modernity and enhancing the overall homestay experience. It was great to be able to play my own music and create a personalized ambiance in the room. the shared bathroom was impeccably clean. It was evident that the hosts put a lot of effort into maintaining a high level of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay.
While my stay at Fun Simon was overall delightful, there was one minor aspect that caught me by surprise. Although the bedroom had a lock for privacy, I realized that the owners lived on the other side of a sliding screen door in the kitchen area.

The location was super convenient, with awesome places just a hop, skip, and jump away. We checked out the vibrant night market filled with yummy street food, and then hit up the trendy shopping mall opposite the hotel. The best part? The hotel had a self-service laundry, so we didn't have to worry about getting our clothes dirty while exploring.
If there's one thing we'd ask for, it's more late-night fun options for young party-goers. The hotel was great for exploring during the day, but we found ourselves wanting more activities to do after dark.

The reception was so welcoming, with a parking spot waiting for us. The lady of the house was super sweet and caring. The accommodation was mind-blowingly clean and well-maintained. The coffee was delicious, and the location was perfect, within walking distance to the city center. The staff and owner were jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for public transport travelers or anyone wanting a fully-equipped, clean, and nice B&B. Close to HSR shuttle bus, historical sites, local eateries. In 10 minutes, you can access good food, post office, shopping mall. The staff prepared a map full of tourist attractions, while the free laundry machine and cooking facilities were a big plus. The owner even played with children! The warm electronic toilet seat, clean and nice rooms, and safe environment were all icing on the cake. Don't forget the shelf full of board games and Chinese books for some added fun!

The shared lounge was just like being in a cozy living room, if your living room had strangers in it. The airport was so close, I could almost smell the jet fuel. And the free parking? Well, it's not every day you get the thrill of finding a parking spot nearby.
Who needs WiFi in all areas when you can just disconnect from the world and enjoy some quality time with yourself? So overrated.
